Safety

The clinician has the final say.

The clinician keeps full autonomy throughout. Every number is highlighted for confirmation, and every summary is approved before it is used.

Safeguards

Clinician control

The final say.

The clinician starts and ends every session and decides at every step. Relaiy relays what is said; the decisions stay with the professional.

Numbers

Every number highlighted.

Doses, dates, times and numbers are highlighted on screen for the patient to confirm.

Sign-off

The clinician approves.

The clinician reviews and approves every summary, and can produce it in the patient’s language for their own benefit.

Disclosure

Patients are told.

Patients are told at the start that the interpreter is AI, and consent is taken. The voice is designed, never cloned.

Learning, with consent

Better with every consultation.

Where patients and clinicians consent, audio and transcripts from real consultations are used to train and improve our models.

Feedback

Flag it for review.

If a clinician thinks a consultation had errors, they can submit its audio and transcript for evaluation, so we can test and improve our models and the experience.

What Relaiy does not do

  • It does not suggest diagnoses, triage, treatment, follow-up questions or doses.
  • It does not interpret results.
  • It is not used with patients who decline AI interpretation.
